After two series of the hit documentary show, Wrexham co-owner McElhenney has revealed season three will premiere on TV channel FX on May 2. The programme will detail the Red Dragons' exploits in the 2023/24 campaign in League Two, with Phil Parkinson's men aiming for a second straight promotion. The show will also be available on streaming platforms Hulu and Disney+.

The Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor tweeted a photo of himself and Reynolds looking tense, with the words: "Welcome (back) to Wrexham! May 2nd (2024)."

Since McElhenney and fellow Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds took over at Wrexham in 2021, the pair have overseen the club's promotion out of the National League and turned them into a huge marketing success. And this documentary show has been a big part of putting the Welsh outfit on the map.
