The Inter Miami co-owner and legendary ex-footballer was in attendance at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India to watch the hosts taking on New Zealand in the 2023 Cricket World Cup semi-final. Ahead of the match, Beckham met former India international and cricket legend Tendulkar at the stadium.

The former Manchester United star is on a three-day visit to India as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Beckham visited the state of Gujarat, where he met underprivileged kids who are supported by the organisation. He said of his pride at being involved in the venture on Instagram: "An incredibly special few days with @unicef here in Gujarat. It’s a great privilege to see first-hand the work Unicef is doing on the ground to support children and their families. The energy and innovation I have seen here has been so inspiring and I loved hearing the children’s stories and their hopes and dreams for the future. When we empower young people, we see the change they can bring to their communities."
